Medium Tings has partnered with WIN, the largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing in New York City to create an art program. We would like to bring high quality artwork and creative activity into these transitional housing spaces by working with artists to transform public areas into nurturing and inspiring environments.

WIN (Women in Need) runs 16 shelters and over 450 supportive housing units across New York City. WIN transforms the lives of New York City homeless families by providing holistic solutions of safe housing, critical services, and ground-breaking programs they need to succeed on their own- so these families can regain their independence and their children can look forward to a brighter future.

11,700 people have called ‘WIN’ home in the past year and more than 5,100 people are housed by WIN each night, including over 3,000 children.

With your assistance, Medium Tings would like to pilot the program in 2025 by working with 5 artists to create large scale artworks across the 5 boroughs. Medium Tings Founder Stephanie Baptist has worked in the arts for more than 10 years and would like to harness her passion, skills and community to make this program a reality.
